| I stood up there strumming my guitar during silent prayer. TJ had said we were distracted, and you know what, we were. I just stood there moving my right arm up and down, my left fingers constantly changing position, slowly watching some people slowly getting up outta their seats so I turned around for a sec. Behind me was a window, an ordinary window. I kept looking into my own reflection off the glass until i realized, who am I? Who am I that I could be loved for who I was? How could He love me for repeatedly turning away from Him? To die for me?! It was then I realized, I was broken. I stood. I stared. I cried.
Yea, I cried, first time in who knows when. I was almost embarrassed to turn around in front of everyone, but as I did, all I could see were people on their knees, crying. We weren't even playing a song, just strumming chords. There were no lyrics, no melodies. Just the voices of people praying out loud with one another, singing with their hearts. Beautiful. Just like His physical body was broken on the cross, His body was broken in the rec room of the Montrose Bible Center. We were broken...
Beautiful.
Mark Schultz - Broken & Beautiful
There’s a businessman, there’s a widowed wife A smiling face with a shattered life A teenage girl with a choice to make It’s crowded here in church today
And the preacher says as the sermon ends “Please close your eyes, bow your heads Is there anyone in need of prayer, Oh Jesus wants to meet you here” Cause we all fall short, and we all have sinned But when you let, God’s grace break in
It’s Beautiful, Beautiful Come as you are Surrender your heart Broken and beautiful
Well he’d never been to church before But he came today as a last resort His world was crashing in And he was suffocating in his sin
But tears rolled down as hope rushed in He closed his eyes, raised his hands Worshiping the God who can Bring him back to life again
And it’s beautiful, beautiful Come as you are Surrender your heart Broken and beautiful, beautiful Come as you are Surrender your heart Broken and beautiful
Cause there’s nothing more beautiful to God Than when His sons and daughters call, broken
Hallelujah, Hallelujah Come as you are Hallelujah, Hallelujah Come as you are
Broken and beautiful, beautiful Come as you are Surrender your heart Broken and beautiful, beautiful Come as you are Surrender your heart Broken and beautiful Come as you are Broken and beautiful, beautiful Come as you are Surrender your heart
Broken and beautiful Broken and beautiful Broken and beautiful Beautiful

| Just scroll down a couple of entries to find last year's Superbowl post dated Monday, February 05, 2007... It continues with the New York Giants downing the then, 18-0 New England Patriots. Ahhh...such a great game which included perhaps the greatest play in SB history. Come to think of it, the last time the G-Men won the Big Game was the year i was born, now the year i graduate. I wonder which milestone it will be when they win another. But...hopefully next year's Superbowl entry will make it 3 's in a row! On another note...earlier in the season the Randolph Board of Directors elected me as a captain for a competitive rec league for the team...drafting players and coaching. So i basically serve as a "player coach" for the MAGIC. We play 7 games for the season and then playoffs if you can advance. So here's an update: MAGIC (9-1) vs sonics W 71-35 nets W 58-30 bulls W 66-32 lakers W 72-48 raptors W 50-48 celtics W 72-48 mavs W 59-55
Playoffs: Rd1: sonics W 52-33 Rd2:lakers W 58-39
Championship: mavs L
